According to the media-law in the Netherlands (2008, article 2.3 paragraph 4) as Minister of Education, Culture, and Science one determines all by oneself what the proper maximum wages are at the public networks, that cleverly seem to circumvent all laws for the general public in terms of the right to union or set up a foundation, which means that you are allowed to make lots of money, as long as you do as the Minister tells you to.
Seriously, I’m tired of the constant newspeak thing we have in the Netherlands, much like anyone else. Okay, I have to admit, they came up with a solution: silence Dutch news completely and I don’t know what is true of foreign news.
Anyway, the quality of our public television network sucks and the only people saying that they do a great job are politicians and the people that work for the public networks. They get selected because they present the news neutrally, which is a nice way of saying they don’t have empathy, which also makes their presentation style highly unsympathetic, not to mention that they are silent on or neutralize murder unions, hard drug stores, and other illegal activities that the government stimulates by financing the public networks to revolt against the system.
Are you looking for a fascist government with every single symptom of it being a fascist government, including considering the option of concentration camps? I don’t see it. Nuh-uh! Not here! Not the Netherlands! We’re a country that prides itself that it’s efficient! Ask Hitler, the families of the Jews we exterminated, and the judges that condoned and supported it and were allowed to stay on after WW II.
I was brought up with the idea that my great grandfather as a Mayor provided food to the people during the hunger winter and that he didn’t collaborate with the Nazis (a minority of Dutch, Germans, and all other peoples), but according to my grandmother who married his son, he was a cold man. Also, he was a Mayor of countryside towns where they didn’t have a shortage of food, so did he make sure the cities in the west were supplied with food? I spare no one. I want an investigation. My grandfather was as sweet as can be, but some of my family-members aren’t, so what am I to make of that?
The main question being: when will the cold prolongation of WW II in the Netherlands finally end and when will we get peace instead of oppression? No more fascism! No more psychopathic and sociopathic judges! We want our system of law and our democracy to be upheld!
I noticed that the Netherlands has a tendency to neutralize the news quite a bit. Essentially all the newspapers deemed quality-newspaper by our government, which probably means they own most of the shares of the Press Group that is the mother company to all these newspapers, have a tendency to do this. They sometimes report something that’s really bad, but then they just make pretend all of the negative effects don’t really exist.
I took a trial-subscription of three weeks to “De Volkskrant” figuring I’d document all of the neutral news and what the effects really were of these things happening in the Netherlands during that period. I think I’m not the first to complain that they deny all of the facts, since now they simply don’t print anything anymore. Instead a terrible song, check the page on Politics - Murphy, now adorns the frontpage and all of the newspaper but the frontpage pretty much focuses on foreign news, as if nothing happens in the Netherlands.
And who says what they say happens abroad is even correct?
The government also has a tendency to buy all of the shares of our major airport as well as the airline that it hosts the most. They make sure ticket prices stay low, so we all think everything is okay. They can put up 744MM euros for an airline, but they can’t afford to finance the police, army, healthcare, education, and infrastructure. A bit double isn’t it? With the government, to differ I beg.

“Murderers should walk the street and be found innocent if actual evidence was obtained illegally!” Seriously? What idiot people ever came up with that? If it isn’t clear whether it has been tampered with or not, that’s a problem, that’s a reason to dismiss the evidence, but why let someone get away with a break in that leads to evidence due to a lack of a warrant and let the murderer get away with it as well? They might just as well install corrupt police officers to break with the procedures to get them off the hook.

I had to add a note that the New Testament wasn’t written in Hebrew, but in Koine Greek. Practically, it doesn’t change the argument, but you do have to cite your sources properly.

The oceans are polluted: waste washes up on the shore daily and it just keeps getting worse and worse. One of the problems we face for a change isn’t people ditching plastic into the ocean, but container-carriers going overboard and polluting the oceans with luxury items.
Why not prevent that and at the same time diversify the local economies to make them more robust to companies going bankrupt?
A big company can consist of one big factory, but you can also save on distribution costs by setting up continentally local factories and keeping the individual factories smaller.
